Is it possible play soccer in america for a small local team?
I want to travel to america and play soccer while i am over there, could i play for a small usa team and be paid around $200-$300 a week? Do many teams operate by paid contracts ? If so, how good would you need to be to get about 200-300 dollars a week? Any advice?
HI thanks so far, i have had trials before for crewe and cork city, bohs. Was there 6 months at bohs but damaged my leg and just getting back playin now. I think i would be good enough, not being arrogant.
also, i dont mean a small local team. I mean a team you get paid..

Should the president of the United States ban soccer and cricket all over the world?
Ok, so I’ve been to MANY places from New York to Los Angeles, and I haven’t seen a single person play either soccer or cricket. I don’t know who plays them. So something occurred to me: should the president of the USA ban soccer and cricket all over the world? It makes sense. It has zero popularity. Football, baseball, and basketball are probably famous world-wide. Everyone plays them.

Can gals ever play soccer with the boys?
Can guys and gals ever play soccer well together? Let’s say we have a mixed team. Can the gals do well enough to keep pace with the guys? Can this mixed team be ever strong enough to challenge a fully strong man’s team such as Real Madrid or Arsenal?
Should I lol?

the world’s dumbest penalty – FUNNY SOCCER MOMENT can’t use your hands in football
South Korean forgets you can’t use your hands in football the world’s dumbest penalty = FUNNY SOCCER MOMENT can’t use your hands in football fAIR USE POLICY MAINTAINED El penalti más tonto del mundo futbol femenino sub 20 High profile handballs are trendy right now. Starting with Thierry Henry’s against Ireland last year and peaking with Luis Suarez’s goal-saving effort against Ghana in the World Cup, both sparked outrage and debate, but both also helped their respective teams. South Korea defender Jeong Yeonga’s handball in their 5-1 semifinal loss to their German hosts in the Women’s U-20 World Cup did not help her team, though. Granted, it didn’t really hurt her team, either, since they were already losing 4-1 at the time. But still…it was weird. Here’s how FIFA.com described the scene: [Germany's Alexandra] Popp hammered in a shot that crashed back off the crossbar. The ball flew out to a defender [Yeonga] but instead of clearing it she chose to catch it even though she was standing inside the area. She must have thought that play had been stopped for some reason or that the ball had gone out because she caught it as if it were the natural thing to do and then just dropped it on the ground. Maybe she thought the rules of the game were suddenly changed mid-match or maybe she just watched Inception and it totally messed with her head. I don’t know. These things are better left unexplained and delightfully odd. A penalty was given, but Yeonga wasn’t booked for her …
